The Metal Treating Institute (MTI) has had a prominent role throughout the history of Aberfoyle Metal Treaters. Harry Hall, our President, has been involved with the MTI since 1989 - beginning on the committee level, moving to a more involved role on the Board, and finally as President of MTI in 2001 and 2002. Harry's involvement did not stop after he led the organization - he continues to remain active on the board and in many of the decision-making processes of the organization.
The MTI has always been a very strong advocate for it's members - helping to share information among many companies and industries, and acting in ways that promote the viability of the industry through education, training, conferences and participation in regulatory decision making with levels of government.

At Aberfoyle Metal Treaters we have always believed that a component of business success comes from communicating with industry peers to continually learn and exchange ideas about technology and business practices like we have done with MTI. These are some other organizations that we have been active with over the years.
