Aberfoyle Metal Treaters’ strength continues to be our ability to meet or exceed customer specifications when heat treating or coating very large components. Company infrastructure is designed to handle over-sized components and our process control systems can meet very tight tolerances. We routinely provide all the QA documentation demanded for critical jobs in the aerospace, nuclear, petroleum and other very specialized industry segments.
AMT is committed to conducting business ethically. We are good stewards of our environment and have conducted sustainable business benchmarking. Energy efficiencies have helped to reduce our carbon footprint and environmental audits have verified ongoing compliance with legislated requirements. Our employees work safely and we have not had a lost time accident in over four years.
I am honoured to continue to serve on the Board of Directors for the international trade association, Metal Treating Institute representing the Canadian membership and on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters, Ontario Division. This has given me the opportunity to work closely with the Provincial and Federal governments in promoting policies that address the small business needs of tomorrow. I believe strongly in the networking opportunities these organizations provide and in the innovative ideas that develop when all participants work cooperatively.
